Privacy Statement TecLine

TecLine considers careful and safe handling of privacy-sensitive information of its website visitors, candidates, employees and self-employed workers very important. TecLine has therefore drawn up this privacy statement. TecLine treats and secures the personal information entrusted to it with the utmost care. This privacy statement provides insight into how TecLine handles personal data in situations arising under the General Data Protection Regulation (AVG).

Who are we?

This privacy statement applies to TecLine BV, TecLine (trade name of THS BV) and TecLine ZZP (trade name of THS ZZP BV), all having their registered offices at the following address:

TecLine is a controller within the meaning of the AVG and therefore has control over the processing of personal data and determines the purpose and means of processing.

TecLine sometimes engages other companies to perform services for it. It remains responsible for the processing of your personal data in these situations. TecLine makes contractual arrangements with these companies about how they handle your personal data so that privacy remains protected.

Technical information

When you visit our websites, these websites automatically collect information about (your) devices as a visitor. This includes, for example, information about the device used to visit the website, the IP address of this device, the IP address of your Internet Service Provider, the operating system you use, date and time of the visit, the internet address of the website from which you linked directly, the pages you visited and the information you viewed on the website, the geolocation where you are located and the material you send to and download from the website.

We use this technical information to administer the website and improve the quality and effectiveness of our website.

TecLine uses cookies and web statistics. This allows us to know better how visitors use our websites and to better adapt our websites to visitors’ user preferences. Cookies are small pieces of information which are stored on your computer or device. On your next visit to our website, these small pieces of information are recognised, making your visit easier.

When do we collect your personal data?

We may retain and process your data in the following cases:

  • If you have given TecLine permission to process your personal data for one or more specific purposes;
  • If processing is necessary for the performance of an agreement to which you are a party, or to take measures at your request prior to the conclusion of an agreement;
  • If processing is necessary to comply with a legal obligation incumbent on TecLine;
  • If processing is necessary to protect your or another’s vital interests;
  • If processing is necessary for the performance of a task of public interest or a task in the exercise of public authority assigned to TecLine;
  • If the processing is necessary to pursue the legitimate interests of TecLine or a third party, except where your interests or the fundamental rights and freedoms requiring protection of your personal data outweigh those interests.

Why do we collect personal data

Personal data are used to be able to provide the hr services offered to you in the best possible way, including staffing, secondment, mediation, payroll, payroll administration, recruitment & selection and personnel management. TecLine uses your data for the following purposes:

  • Bringing together supply and demand in the labour market;
  • Informing you about interesting offers from TecLine and third parties;
  • Registering hours worked and processing them in our salary system;
  • To be able to assess your suitability and availability in connection with mediation for permanent or temporary work or an assignment, whereby use can also be made of test results;
  • enter into and maintain an employee, personnel or intermediary relationship with you and carry out the relevant administration for this;
  • To record an assignment with the client in an agreement with the client and to maintain and fulfil the agreement with the client;
  • To process data on behalf of our clients as part of pre-employment screening;
  • To promote your personal development and employability, including training, education and testing;
  • For management purposes including management information, providing internal controls and corporate security and conducting audits and auditing;
  • Quality purposes such as certification;
  • To apply for subsidies, premium discounts etc;
  • If we have entered into an employee, staff or intermediary relationship with you, for compliance with laws and regulations including, but not limited to, identification, employment legislation, tax and social security legislation, combating fraud and national and international sanctions legislation.

What personal data do we collect from you?

TecLine may process the personal data below if you are a job seeker, candidate, seconded employee, (temporary) employee, independent contractor and/or business relation. You are responsible for ensuring that the personal details provided are correct and up-to-date.

  • Job seeker or candidate
  • Name and address details, e-mail address, telephone number and other contact details
  • Birth details, age, gender
  • Curriculum vitae (CV), information on education, internships and work experience
  • Details of training and education and/or tests you have attended or taken yourself or through us
  • Data on availability and leave
  • Other data that are or may be important for the assessment of the candidate’s suitability, e.g. references, certificates and data on work experience
  • On a voluntary basis, other content with which you introduce yourself (video, photo)

Seconded, (temporary) employee and self-employed entrepreneur

If you can start working/work/have worked for TecLine or its clients, TecLine may process the following data:

  • Name and address details, e-mail address, telephone number, IBAN and other contact details
  • Birth details, age, gender
  • Curriculum vitae (CV), information about education, work placements and work experience
  • Data on training and education and/or tests you have attended or taken yourself or through us
  • Data on availability and leave
  • Nationality, BSN & identity document (copy of identity document), any work permit
  • Data in the context of pre-employment screening
  • Data on the nature and content of previous employment placements, including their termination
  • Other data that are or may be important in the context of assessing the candidate’s suitability, e.g. references and certificates and data on work experience
  • Other data related to personnel, salary and absence registration
  • On a voluntary basis, other content with which you introduce yourself (video, photo)
  • Data other than those listed above whose processing is required as a result of or necessary for the application of the law.

 

Third parties

TecLine may disclose your personal data to other entities of TecLine, its clients, subcontractors (e.g. data processors) providing services or executing assignments on behalf of TecLine, suppliers, government agencies and other business relations. And in all other cases in which we may be required to do so, for example by a court order or court judgment.

The provision of personal data takes place on the basis of a legitimate interest, legal obligation and/or for the performance of the agreement in accordance with the purposes mentioned under ‘Why do we collect your personal data?’.

Your personal data may be transferred outside the Netherlands. TecLine has taken the necessary measures to ensure that the personal data transferred is adequately protected.

Your rights

It is important to us that you can easily exercise your rights in relation to the processing of your personal data. If you wish to make use of any of the rights to which you are entitled and listed below, you can contact us as described below.

Inspection and/or modification of data

You can always ask us by e-mail which (categories of) data we process about you, for which purposes, what the source of the data is and which retention periods we apply.

In addition, you can always contact us to supplement, correct or delete your data. In the unlikely event that we have provided you with incorrect personal data, we will rectify this.

If we have changed your personal data, we will let you know.

Limiting the processing of your data

If you do not agree with the content of the data we hold on you, you can submit a request by e-mail to temporarily restrict the processing of your data. We will then wait to distribute your data until, in your opinion, it is in order again.

If we restrict processing of your personal data, we will let you know.

Right to transfer data

You can request the personal data we hold about you in a structured and common form by e-mail. You are completely free to transfer this information to third parties.

Right to be forgotten

If you no longer wish to use our services, you can request that we delete your personal data by e-mail ([email protected]). This can be done at any time.

In addition, you can withdraw your possibly granted consent to process your data at any time. We will then cease processing the personal data for which you had granted consent. Revoking your consent does not affect past processing.

Procedure, response time and costs

We will process your requests as mentioned in this chapter as soon as possible, but at the latest within one month. We are obliged to check your identity before fulfilling requests. Requests are in principle processed electronically, unless this is not possible or you request otherwise.

In principle, we will not charge you for processing your requests, unless the requests are excessive, manifestly unfounded or if you request additional copies when exercising the right of inspection.

Security

TecLine makes every effort to secure your personal data as much as possible against unlawful use. We do this by means of physical, administrative, organisational and technical measures. For example: only authorised persons have access to the data. If and insofar as data are provided to data processors who provide services or carry out assignments on behalf of TecLine, TecLine has agreed with them that they will also secure the personal data optimally.

Retention period

TecLine does not retain personal data for longer than is necessary for the purpose of processing and in accordance with the statutory retention periods.

Questions, comments, complaints or (suspected) data breach

If you have any questions, comments or complaints about the protection of your personal data, please contact the management by e-mail ([email protected]). If you disagree with TecLine’ use of your personal data, you can also file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

Data breach

If there is a (suspected) data breach, please report this immediately via [email protected].

Changes

TecLine reserves the right to amend or change this privacy statement. None of the provisions of the privacy statement is intended to create any obligation or agreement between TecLine and a data subject.

Other provisions

Dutch law applies to the provisions of this privacy statement and any disputes arising from them.
